Doming can be made on various substrates (Abs, polyester, vinyl…) and printing processes : ink jet solvent, ink jet pigment, water based inks, laser, screen printing...
Substrate choice is essential for quality of doming.
Thermoflan has selected a special base for water based inks ( personal and professional ink jet printers) including special coating for doming.

POLYURETHAN RESIN & HARDENER

To create a very elegant appearance and get value-added graphics, panels, labels , decals… doming can be made on Abs, vinyl, polyester, polystyren, polycarbonate… as well as all materials coming from graphic industry.
When applied, the resin flows out until it hits the part's edge and stops at this point, producing a glass-like, plastic resin bubble acting as a lens.
Resin is non-toxic and requires no curing equipment.
Several grades are available, with different fluidities and flexibilities to meet application requirements.
